For ignoring the righteousness that comes from God, and seeking instead to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.

Kings reign by means of me, and potentates ¹  decree ²  righteousness;

So indeed it was credited to Abraham ¹  as righteousness.

For human ¹  anger does not accomplish God’s righteousness. ² 

What shall we say then? – that the Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness obtained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith,

Relent, ¹  let there be no falsehood; ²  reconsider, ³  for my righteousness is intact! ⁴ 

Your wickedness affects only ¹  a person like yourself, and your righteousness only other people. ² 

With my knowledge I will speak comprehensively, ¹  and to my Creator I will ascribe righteousness. ² 

To receive ¹  moral instruction ²  in skillful living, ³  in ⁴  righteousness, ⁵  justice, ⁶  and equity. ⁷ 

Then you will understand ¹  righteousness and justice and equity – every ²  good ³  way. ⁴ 

Riches and honor are with me, long-lasting wealth and righteousness.

I walk in the path of righteousness, in the pathway of justice,

Treasures gained by wickedness ¹  do not profit, but righteousness ²  delivers from mortal danger. ³ 

Wealth does not profit in the day of wrath, ¹  but righteousness delivers from mortal danger. ² 

The wicked person ¹  earns ²  deceitful wages, ³  but the one who sows ⁴  righteousness reaps ⁵  a genuine ⁶  reward. ⁷ 

In the path of righteousness there is life, but another path leads to death. ¹ 

Righteousness ¹  guards the one who lives with integrity, ²  but wickedness ³  overthrows the sinner.

Righteousness exalts ¹  a nation, but sin is a disgrace ²  to any people.

The Lord abhors ¹  the way of the wicked, but he loves those ²  who pursue ³  righteousness.

Better to have a little with righteousness ¹  than to have abundant income without justice. ²
