Then ¹  the women remembered his words, ² 

God heard their groaning, ¹  God remembered ²  his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob,

They remembered that God was their protector, ¹  and that the sovereign God was their deliverer. ² 

Yes, ¹  he remembered the sacred promise ²  he made to Abraham his servant.

He remembered his covenant with them, and relented ¹  because of his great loyal love.

He does ¹  amazing things that will be remembered; ²  the Lord is merciful and compassionate.

to the one who remembered us when we were down, ¹  for his loyal love endures,

As for the Lord God Almighty, the Lord is the name by which he is remembered! ¹ 

Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered.”

His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal ¹  for your house will devour me.” ² 

I ¹  have also heard ²  the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, ³  and I have remembered my covenant. ⁴ 

He remembered ¹  that they were made of flesh, and were like a wind that blows past and does not return. ² 

May his ancestors’ ¹  sins be remembered by the Lord! May his mother’s sin not be forgotten! ² 

and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your acts of charity ¹  have been remembered before God. ² 

because her sins have piled ¹  up all the way to heaven ²  and God has remembered ³  her crimes. ⁴ 

The previous abundance of the land will not be remembered ¹  because of the famine that follows, for the famine will be very severe. ² 

Then Joseph remembered ¹  the dreams he had dreamed about them, and he said to them, “You are spies; you have come to see if our land is vulnerable!” ² 

The womb ¹  forgets him, the worm feasts on him, no longer will he be remembered. Like a tree, wickedness will be broken down.

They say, “Come on, let’s annihilate them so they are no longer a nation! ¹  Then the name of Israel will be remembered no more.”

No one remembers the former events, ¹  nor will anyone remember ²  the events that are yet to happen; ³  they will not be remembered by the future generations. ⁴
