The Lord will reign forever and ever!

But you, O Lord, reign ¹  forever!

So this Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and ¹  the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

(12:1) ¹  Jehoash ²  was seven years old when he began to reign.

Kings reign by means of me, and potentates ¹  decree ²  righteousness;

David was thirty years old when he began to reign and he reigned for forty years.

Now King Hazael of Syria oppressed Israel throughout Jehoahaz’s reign. ¹ 

In the eighteenth year of the reign of King Jeroboam, Abijah became king over Judah.

There was no more war until the thirty-fifth year of Asa’s reign.

Asa passed away ¹  in the forty-first year of his reign.

This Passover was observed in the eighteenth year of Josiah’s reign.

May he reign ¹  forever before God! Decree that your loyal love and faithfulness should protect him. ² 

But you, O Lord, reign forever; your throne endures from generation to generation.

In the fourth year of King Hezekiah’s reign (it was the seventh year of the reign of Israel’s King Hoshea, son of Elah), King Shalmaneser of Assyria marched ¹  up against Samaria ²  and besieged it.

After three years he captured it (in the sixth year of Hezekiah’s reign); in the ninth year of King Hoshea’s reign over Israel Samaria was captured.

Saul was [thirty] ¹  years old when he began to reign; he ruled over Israel for [forty] ²  years.

In the eighteenth year of the reign of Jeroboam son of Nebat, Abijah ¹  became king over Judah.

In the twentieth year of Jeroboam’s reign over Israel, Asa became the king of Judah.

Baasha killed him in the third year of Asa’s reign over Judah and replaced him as king.

He removed from the land any male cultic prostitutes who had managed to survive the reign of his father Asa. ¹
