Abraham ¹  planted a tamarisk tree ²  in Beer Sheba. There he worshiped the Lord, ³  the eternal God.

the root ¹  your right hand planted, the shoot you made to grow! ² 

Planted in the Lord’s house, they grow in the courts of our God.

They cultivated ¹  fields, and planted vineyards, which yielded a harvest of fruit. ² 

I increased my possessions: ¹  I built houses for myself; ²  I planted vineyards for myself.

Now it is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty land. ¹ 

The sovereign Lord showed me this: I saw ¹  him making locusts just as the crops planted late ²  were beginning to sprout. (The crops planted late sprout after the royal harvest. ³ )

The Lord God planted an orchard ¹  in the east, ²  in Eden; ³  and there he placed the man he had formed. ⁴ 

Whenever the Israelites planted their crops, ¹  the Midianites, Amalekites, and the people from the east would attack them. ² 

The trees of the Lord ¹  receive all the rain they need, ²  the cedars of Lebanon which he planted,

I designed ¹  royal gardens ²  and parks ³  for myself, and I planted all kinds of fruit trees in them.

In a good field, by abundant waters, it was planted to grow branches, bear fruit, and become a beautiful vine.

For indeed, I am on your side; ¹  I will turn to you, and you will be plowed and planted.

When Isaac planted in that land, he reaped in the same year a hundred times what he had sown, ¹  because the Lord blessed him. ² 

They are like ¹  valleys ²  stretched forth, like gardens by the river’s side, like aloes ³  that the Lord has planted, and like cedar trees beside the waters.

Or who among you has planted a vineyard and not benefited from it? He may go home, lest he die in battle and someone else benefit from it.

A time to be born, ¹  and a time to die; ²  a time to plant, and a time to uproot what was planted;

He plucked off its topmost shoot; he brought it to a land of merchants and planted it in a city of traders.

He took one of the seedlings ¹  of the land, placed it in a cultivated plot; ²  a shoot by abundant water, like a willow he planted it.

“‘Your mother was like a vine in your vineyard, ¹  planted by water. It was fruitful and full of branches because it was well-watered.
