Her ways are very pleasant, ¹  and all her paths are peaceful.

My people will live in peaceful settlements, in secure homes, and in safe, quiet places. ¹ 

Their peaceful dwelling places will be laid waste ¹  by the fierce anger of the Lord. ² 

Do to him what you think is appropriate, ¹  but don’t let him live long and die a peaceful death. ²

‘for there will be a peaceful time of sowing, the vine will produce its fruit and the ground its yield, and the skies ¹  will rain down dew. Then I will allow the remnant of my people to possess all these things.
