For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, ¹  nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers,

nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave ¹  nor free, there is neither male nor female ²  – for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.

So they asked John, ¹  “Why then are you baptizing if you are not the Christ, ²  nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”

“A disciple is not greater than his teacher, nor a slave ¹  greater than his master.

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon!’ ¹ 

He will not quarrel or cry out, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets.

Nor are you to be called ‘teacher,’ for you have one teacher, the Christ. ¹ 

“For ¹  no good tree bears bad ²  fruit, nor again ³  does a bad tree bear good fruit,

For ¹  three days he could not see, and he neither ate nor drank anything. ² 

nor can they prove ¹  to you the things ²  they are accusing me of doing. ³ 

nor to seek glory from people, either from you or from others,

He ¹  committed no sin nor was deceit found in his mouth. ² 

A good tree is not able to bear bad fruit, nor a bad tree to bear good fruit.

For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels ¹  in heaven.

nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is ¹  in your midst.” ² 

He said, ¹  “In a certain city ²  there was a judge ³  who neither feared God nor respected people. ⁴ 

nor do you have his word residing in you, because you do not believe the one whom he sent.

because you will not leave my soul in Hades, ¹  nor permit your Holy One to experience ²  decay.

For you have brought these men here who are neither temple robbers ¹  nor blasphemers of our goddess. ²
