Everything that the Father has is mine; that is why I said the Spirit ¹  will receive from me what is mine ²  and will tell it to you. ³ 

because a friend of mine has stopped here while on a journey, ¹  and I have nothing to set before ²  him.’

He ¹  will glorify me, ²  because he will receive ³  from me what is mine ⁴  and will tell it to you. ⁵ 

that is, that we may be mutually comforted by one another’s faith, ¹  both yours and mine.

“Everyone ¹  who hears these words of mine and does them is like ²  a wise man ³  who built his house on rock.

Everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.

but to sit at my right or at my left is not mine to give. It is for those for whom it has been prepared.” ¹ 

because this son of mine was dead, and is alive again – he was lost and is found!’ ¹  So ²  they began to celebrate.

But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be their king, ¹  bring them here and slaughter ²  them ³  in front of me!’”

The person who does not love me does not obey ¹  my words. And the word ²  you hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

You yourselves know that these hands of mine ¹  provided for my needs and the needs of those who were with me.

Do not avenge yourselves, dear friends, but give place to God’s wrath, ¹  for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay,” ²  says the Lord.

As the truth of Christ is in me, this boasting of mine ¹  will not be stopped ²  in the regions of Achaia.

– though mine too are significant. ¹  If someone thinks he has good reasons to put confidence in human credentials, ²  I have more:

For we know the one who said, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay,” ¹  and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” ² 

He said to her, “What do you want?” She replied, ¹  “Permit ²  these two sons of mine to sit, one at your ³  right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom.”

He told them, “You will drink my cup, ¹  but to sit at my right and at my left is not mine to give. Rather, it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”

And the king will answer them, ¹  ‘I tell you the truth, ²  just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters ³  of mine, you did it for me.’
