“Everyone who divorces his wife and marries ¹  someone else commits adultery, and the one who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.

So ¹  he told them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.

And if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.” ¹ 

Now I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another commits adultery.”

So then, the one who marries ¹  his own virgin does well, but the one who does not, does better. ² 

But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

But if you marry, you have not sinned. And if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. But those who marry will face difficult circumstances, ¹  and I am trying to spare you such problems. ²
