Each of the doors had two leaves, two swinging ¹  leaves; two leaves for one door and two leaves for the other.

My strength leaves me; ¹  I am absolutely shocked. ² 

He also made ¹  two doors out of wood from evergreens; each door had two folding leaves. ² 

For she leaves ¹  her eggs on the ground, and lets them be warmed on the soil.

My heart beats quickly; my strength leaves me; I can hardly see. ¹ 

who leaves ¹  the husband ²  from her younger days, ³  and forgets her marriage covenant ⁴  made before God. ⁵ 

For you will be like a tree whose leaves wither, like an orchard ¹  that is unwatered.

Its underparts ¹  are the sharp points of potsherds, it leaves its mark in the mud like a threshing sledge. ² 

It leaves a glistening wake behind it; one would think the deep had a head of white hair.

I said, “I will remember God while I groan; I will think about him while my strength leaves me.” ¹  (Selah)

They bear fruit even when they are old; they are filled with vitality and have many leaves. ¹ 

A wise person’s good sense protects him, ¹  but a fool’s lack of sense leaves him vulnerable. ² 

That is why ¹  a man leaves ²  his father and mother and unites with ³  his wife, and they become a new family. ⁴ 

Then the eyes of both of them opened, and they knew they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

The Lord’s shout bends ¹  the large trees ²  and strips ³  the leaves from the forests. ⁴  Everyone in his temple says, “Majestic!” ⁵ 

When someone comes to visit, ¹  he pretends to be friendly; ²  he thinks of ways to defame me, ³  and when he leaves he slanders me. ⁴ 

Even when my strength leaves me, ¹  you watch my footsteps. ²  In the path where I walk they have hidden a trap for me.

A benevolent ¹  person leaves an inheritance ²  for his grandchildren, ³  but the wealth of a sinner is stored up for the righteous. ⁴ 

On both sides of the river’s banks, every kind of tree will grow for food. Their leaves will not wither nor will their fruit fail, but they will bear fruit every month, because their water source flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.” ¹
