and Judas Iscariot, ¹  who betrayed him. ² 

Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, ¹  who became a traitor.

Simon the Zealot ¹  and Judas Iscariot, ²  who betrayed him. ³ 

(Now he said this about Judas son of Simon Iscariot, ¹  for Judas, ²  one of the twelve, was going to betray him.) ³ 

“Lord,” Judas (not Judas Iscariot) ¹  said, ²  “what has happened that you are going to reveal ³  yourself to us and not to the world?”

Then one of the twelve, the one named Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests

From that time ¹  on, Judas ²  began looking for an opportunity to betray him.

When Judas ¹  arrived, he went up to Jesus ²  immediately and said, “Rabbi!” and kissed ³  him.

Then ¹  Satan ²  entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, who was one of the twelve. ³ 

But Jesus said to him, “Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?” ¹ 

But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (the one who was going to betray him) ¹  said,

(Now none of those present at the table ¹  understood ²  why Jesus ³  said this to Judas. ⁴ 

Judas ¹  took the piece of bread and went out immediately. (Now it was night.) ² 

Therefore we are sending ¹  Judas and Silas ²  who will tell you these things themselves in person. ³ 

Then ¹  Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely not I, Rabbi?” Jesus ²  replied, “You have said it yourself.”

So ¹  Judas threw the silver coins into the temple and left. Then he went out and hanged himself.

Then ¹  Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus into their hands. ² 

So ¹  Judas ²  agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus ³  when no crowd was present. ⁴ 

When ¹  Judas ²  had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in him.

to assume the task ¹  of this service ²  and apostleship from which Judas turned aside ³  to go to his own place.” ⁴
