The Lord supports ¹  him on his sickbed; you completely heal him from his illness. ² 

No harm will overtake ¹  you; no illness ²  will come near your home. ³ 

This is the prayer of King Hezekiah of Judah when he was sick and then recovered from his illness:

But you know it was because of a physical illness that I first proclaimed the gospel to you,

After this ¹  the son of the woman who owned the house got sick. His illness was so severe he could no longer breathe.

And I cried out, ¹  “We are doomed! ²  Our wound is severe! We once thought, ‘This is only an illness. And we will be able to bear it!’ ³ 

Look! I am throwing her onto a bed of violent illness, ¹  and those who commit adultery with her into terrible suffering, ²  unless they repent of her deeds.

Now Elisha had a terminal illness. ¹  King Joash of Israel went down to visit him. ²  He wept before him and said, “My father, my father! The chariot ³  and horsemen of Israel!” ⁴

The Lord afflicted the king with an illness; he suffered from a skin disease ¹  until the day he died. He lived in separate quarters, ²  while his son Jotham was in charge of the palace and ruled over the people of the land.
