All who believed were together and held ¹  everything in common,

I tell you the truth, ¹  this generation will be held responsible for all these things! ² 

None of the rest dared to join them, ¹  but the people held them in high honor. ² 

He himself is before all things and all things are held together ¹  in him.

But ¹  Jesus met them, saying, “Greetings!” They ²  came to him, held on to his feet and worshiped him.

But about Israel he says, “All day long I held out my hands to this disobedient and stubborn people!” ¹ 

and set free those who were held in slavery all their lives by their fear of death.

so that this generation may be held accountable ¹  for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning ²  of the world, ³ 

But God raised him up, ¹  having released ²  him from the pains ³  of death, because it was not possible for him to be held in its power. ⁴ 

So Agrippa ¹  said to Paul, “You have permission ²  to speak for yourself.” Then Paul held out his hand ³  and began his defense: ⁴ 

Now before faith ¹  came we were held in custody under the law, being kept as prisoners ²  until the coming faith would be revealed.

From him the whole body grows, fitted and held together ¹  through every supporting ligament. ²  As each one does its part, the body grows in love.

and they will come to their senses and escape the devil’s trap where they are held captive ¹  to do his will. ² 

At my first defense no one appeared in my support; instead they all deserted me – may they not be held accountable for it.

He held ¹  in his hand a little scroll that was open, and he put his right foot on the sea and his left on the land.

The group of those who believed were of one heart and mind, ¹  and no one said that any of his possessions was his own, but everything was held in common. ² 

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under ¹  the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world may be held accountable to God.

He has not held fast ¹  to the head from whom the whole body, supported ²  and knit together through its ligaments and sinews, grows with a growth that is from God. ³ 

Look, the pay you have held back from the workers who mowed your fields cries out against you, and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.

He held ¹  seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp double-edged sword extended out of his mouth. His ²  face shone like the sun shining at full strength.
