Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, ¹  “I have glorified it, ²  and I will glorify it ³  again.”

If God is glorified in him, ¹  God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him right away. ² 

For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.

When Jesus had finished saying these things, he looked upward ¹  to heaven ²  and said, “Father, the time ³  has come. Glorify your Son, so that your ⁴  Son may glorify you –

He ¹  will glorify me, ²  because he will receive ³  from me what is mine ⁴  and will tell it to you. ⁵ 

And now, Father, glorify me at your side ¹  with the glory I had with you before the world was created. ² 

so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But if you suffer as a Christian, ¹  do not be ashamed, but glorify ²  God that you bear such a name. ³ 

Fear ¹  seized them all, and they began to glorify ²  God, saying, “A great prophet ³  has appeared ⁴  among us!” and “God has come to help ⁵  his people!”

Jesus replied, ¹  “If I glorify myself, my glory is worthless. ²  The one who glorifies me is my Father, about whom you people ³  say, ‘He is our God.’

(Now Jesus ¹  said this to indicate clearly by what kind of death Peter ²  was going to glorify God.) ³  After he said this, Jesus told Peter, ⁴  “Follow me.”

For although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts and their senseless hearts ¹  were darkened.

and thus the Gentiles glorify God for his mercy. ¹  As it is written, “Because of this I will confess you among the Gentiles, and I will sing praises to your name.” ² 

Through the evidence ¹  of this service ²  they will glorify God because of your obedience to your confession in the gospel of Christ and the generosity of your sharing ³  with them and with everyone.

So also Christ did not glorify himself in becoming high priest, but the one who glorified him was God, ¹  who said to him, “You are my Son! Today I have fathered you,” ² 

and maintain good conduct ¹  among the non-Christians, ²  so that though ³  they now malign you as wrongdoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God when he appears. ⁴ 

Who will not fear you, O Lord, and glorify ¹  your name, because you alone are holy? ²  All nations ³  will come and worship before you for your righteous acts ⁴  have been revealed.”
