You will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters. ¹ 

but the flesh and the hide he completely burned up ¹  outside the camp. ²

His flesh wastes away from sight, and his bones, which were not seen, are easily visible. ¹ 

all flesh would perish together and human beings would return to dust.

The folds ¹  of its flesh are tightly joined; they are firm on it, immovable. ² 

Do I eat the flesh of bulls? Do I drink the blood of goats? ¹ 

Then the man said, “This one at last ¹  is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one will be called ²  ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of ³  man.” ⁴ 

You ¹  devour my people’s flesh, strip off their skin, and crush their bones. You chop them up like flesh in a pot ²  – like meat in a kettle.

You must circumcise the flesh of your foreskins. This will be a reminder ¹  of the covenant between me and you.
