You will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters. ¹ 

and the two will become one flesh. ¹  So they are no longer two, but one flesh.

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

What is born of the flesh is flesh, ¹  and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.

So then, ¹  brothers and sisters, ²  we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh

All flesh is not the same: People have one flesh, animals have another, birds and fish another. ¹ 

to eat ¹  your fill ²  of the flesh of kings, the flesh of generals, ³  the flesh of powerful people, the flesh of horses and those who ride them, and the flesh of all people, both free and slave, ⁴  and small and great!”

For God achieved what the law could not do because ¹  it was weakened through the flesh. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,

So, since Christ suffered ¹  in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same attitude, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin, ² 

but the flesh and the hide he completely burned up ¹  outside the camp. ² 

On ¹  the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin ²  must be circumcised.

But whenever raw flesh appears in it ¹  he will be unclean,

so the priest is to examine the raw flesh ¹  and pronounce him unclean ²  – it is diseased.

If, however, ¹  the raw flesh once again turns white, ²  then he must come to the priest.

All Israel joined David at Hebron and said, “Look, we are your very flesh and blood! ¹ 

Is my strength like that of stones? ¹  or is my flesh made of bronze?

“Do you have eyes of flesh, ¹  or do you see ²  as a human being sees? ³ 

You clothed ¹  me with skin and flesh and knit me together ²  with bones and sinews.

Only his flesh has pain for himself, ¹  and he mourns for himself.” ² 

Why do you pursue me like God does? ¹  Will you never be satiated with my flesh? ²
