“Everything is lawful,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is lawful,” ¹  but not everything builds others up. ² 

Do everything without grumbling or arguing,

Be careful! I have told you everything ahead of time.

And he got up and followed him, leaving everything ¹  behind. ² 

All who believed were together and held ¹  everything in common,

And do everything in a decent and orderly manner.

Everything you do should be done in love.

Everything ¹  I have belongs to you, ²  and everything you have belongs to me, ³  and I have been glorified by them. ⁴ 

For he has put everything in subjection under his feet. ¹  But when it says “everything” has been put in subjection, it is clear that this does not include the one who put everything in subjection to him.

So whoever swears by the altar swears by it and by everything on it.

Then ¹  the apostles gathered around Jesus and told him everything they had done and taught.

Peter began to speak to him, “Look, ¹  we have left everything to follow you!” ² 

So ¹  when they had brought their boats to shore, they left everything and followed ²  him.

I fast twice ¹  a week; I give a tenth ²  of everything I get.’

And Peter said, “Look, we have left everything we own ¹  to follow you!” ² 

Now they understand ¹  that everything ²  you have given me comes from you,

and when he had explained everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.

This happened three times, and then everything was pulled up to heaven again.

One person believes in eating everything, but the weak person eats only vegetables.

So then, no more boasting about mere mortals! ¹  For everything belongs to you,
