Examine me, O Lord, and test me! Evaluate my inner thoughts and motives! ¹ 

For God will evaluate every deed, ¹  including every secret thing, whether good or evil.

Two or three prophets should speak and the others should evaluate what is said.

Let us evaluate ¹  for ourselves what is right; ²  let us come to know among ourselves what is good.

A rich person ¹  is wise in his own eyes, ²  but a discerning poor person can evaluate him properly. ³ 

then listen from your heavenly dwelling place, forgive their sin, ¹  and act favorably toward each one based on your evaluation of his motives. ²  (Indeed you are the only one who can correctly evaluate the motives of all people.) ³

The Lord said to me, ¹  “I have made you like a metal assayer to test my people like ore. ²  You are to observe them and evaluate how they behave.” ³ 

and in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, because the sky is red and darkening.’ ¹  You know how to judge correctly the appearance of the sky, ²  but you cannot evaluate the signs of the times.
