The last enemy to be eliminated is death.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’ ¹  and ‘hate your enemy.’

But I say to you, love your enemy and ¹  pray for those who persecute you,

So then, have I become your enemy by telling you the truth? ¹ 

Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. ¹ 

But while everyone was sleeping, an enemy came and sowed weeds ¹  among the wheat and went away.

He said, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So ¹  the slaves replied, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them?’

and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.

Look, I have given you authority to tread ¹  on snakes and scorpions ²  and on the full force of the enemy, ³  and nothing will ⁴  hurt you.

Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, ¹  is on the prowl looking for someone ²  to devour.

and said, “You who are full of all deceit and all wrongdoing, ¹  you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness – will you not stop making crooked the straight paths of the Lord? ² 

Rather, if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing this you will be heaping burning coals on his head. ¹ 

Adulterers, do you not know that friendship with the world means hostility toward God? ¹  So whoever decides to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy.
