“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Keep thinking about things above, not things on the earth,

so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow – in heaven and on earth and under the earth –

So ¹  the one seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped.

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth so no wind could blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.

“I tell you the truth, ¹  whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.

Then his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “I will once more shake not only the earth but heaven too.” ¹ 

But ¹  no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look into it.

Then ¹  out of the smoke came locusts onto the earth, and they were given power ²  like that of the scorpions of the earth.

with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality and the earth’s inhabitants got drunk with the wine of her immorality.” ¹ 

Then ¹  I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had ceased to exist, ²  and the sea existed no more.

may your kingdom come, ¹  may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

I glorified you on earth by completing ¹  the work you gave me to do. ² 

for the Lord will execute his sentence on the earth completely and quickly.” ¹ 

for the earth and its abundance are the Lord’s. ¹
