He is dressed in clothing dipped ¹  in blood, and he is called ²  the Word of God.

So they took Joseph’s tunic, killed a young goat, ¹  and dipped the tunic in the blood.

He ¹  answered, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me ²  will betray me.

Jesus replied, ¹  “It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread ²  after I have dipped it in the dish.” ³  Then he dipped the piece of bread in the dish ⁴  and gave it to Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son.

But Jonathan had not heard about the oath his father had made the army take. He extended the end of his staff that was in his hand and dipped it in the honeycomb. When he ate it, ¹  his eyes gleamed. ²
