For everyone who does evil deeds hates the light and does not come to the light, so that their deeds will not be exposed.

‘I know your deeds: your love, faith, ¹  service, and steadfast endurance. ²  In fact, ³  your more recent deeds are greater than your earlier ones.

So then they said to him, “What must we do to accomplish the deeds ¹  God requires?” ² 

If I do not perform ¹  the deeds ²  of my Father, do not believe me.

Many of those who had believed came forward, ¹  confessing and making their deeds known. ² 

“Blessed ¹  are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;

Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather ¹  expose them. ² 

but with good deeds, as is proper for women who profess reverence for God.

then he says, ¹  “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no longer.” ² 

because the person who gives him a greeting shares in his evil deeds. ¹ 

“But I have a testimony greater than that from John. For the deeds ¹  that the Father has assigned me to complete – the deeds ²  I am now doing – testify about me that the Father has sent me.

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  the person who believes in me will perform ²  the miraculous deeds ³  that I am doing, ⁴  and will perform ⁵  greater deeds ⁶  than these, because I am going to the Father.

If I had not performed ¹  among them the miraculous deeds ²  that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. ³  But now they have seen the deeds ⁴  and have hated both me and my Father. ⁵ 

Now when John ¹  heard in prison about the deeds Christ ²  had done, he sent his disciples to ask a question: ³ 

They ¹  do all their deeds to be seen by people, for they make their phylacteries ²  wide and their tassels ³  long.

The world cannot hate you, but it hates me, because I am testifying about it that its deeds are evil.

So Moses was trained ¹  in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful ²  in his words and deeds.

When his accusers stood up, they did not charge ¹  him with any of the evil deeds I had suspected. ² 

Indeed, the signs of an apostle were performed among you with great perseverance ¹  by signs and wonders and powerful deeds. ² 

And you were at one time strangers and enemies in your ¹  minds ²  as expressed through ³  your evil deeds,
