I rashly declared, ¹  “All men are liars.”

God has declared one principle; two principles I have heard: ¹  God is strong, ² 

and declared, “This man ¹  said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”

For we consider that a person ¹  is declared righteous by faith apart from the works of the law. ² 

¹ Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have ²  peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Thus the law had become our guardian ¹  until Christ, so that we could be declared righteous ²  by faith.

But ¹  for this purpose I have caused you to stand: ²  to show you ³  my strength, and so that my name may be declared ⁴  in all the earth.

Today you have declared the Lord to be your God, and that you will walk in his ways, keep his statutes, commandments, and ordinances, and obey him.

And today the Lord has declared you to be his special people (as he already promised you) so you may keep all his commandments.

After Jehoiada died, the officials of Judah visited the king and declared their loyalty to him. ¹  The king listened to their advice. ² 

With Job’s ¹  three friends he was also angry, because they could not find ²  an answer, and so declared Job guilty. ³ 

you asked, ¹  ‘Who is this who darkens counsel without knowledge?’ But ²  I have declared without understanding ³  things too wonderful for me to know. ⁴ 

The people ¹  of Nineveh believed in God, ²  and they declared a fast and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them. ³ 

Then the high priest tore his clothes and declared, ¹  “He has blasphemed! Why do we still need witnesses? Now ²  you have heard the blasphemy!

While he was with them, ¹  he declared, ²  “Do not leave Jerusalem, ³  but wait there ⁴  for what my ⁵  Father promised, ⁶  which you heard about from me. ⁷ 

This one ¹  heaven must ²  receive until the time all things are restored, ³  which God declared ⁴  from times long ago ⁵  through his holy prophets.

“But as the time drew near for God to fulfill the promise he had declared to Abraham, ¹  the people increased greatly in number ²  in Egypt,

For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous before God, but those who do the law will be declared righteous. ¹ 

For no one is declared righteous before him ¹  by the works of the law, ²  for through the law comes ³  the knowledge of sin.

For if Abraham was declared righteous ¹  by the works of the law, he has something to boast about – but not before God.
