So then, my dear friends, flee from idolatry.

Do not be led astray, my dear brothers and sisters. ¹ 

So then, my brothers and sisters, ¹  dear friends whom I long to see, my joy and crown, stand in the Lord in this way, my dear friends!

Dear friends, if God so loved us, then ¹  we also ought to love one another. ² 

From ¹  the elder, ²  to Gaius ³  my dear brother, whom I love in truth. ⁴ 

But you, dear friends – recall the predictions ¹  foretold by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. ² 

And ¹  a voice from heaven said, ²  “This is my one dear Son; ³  in him ⁴  I take great delight.” ⁵ 

And a voice came from heaven: “You are my one dear Son; ¹  in you I take great delight.” ² 

He had one left, his one dear son. ¹  Finally he sent him to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

You learned the gospel ¹  from Epaphras, our dear fellow slave ²  – a ³  faithful minister of Christ on our ⁴  behalf –

to Timothy, my dear child. Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord!

From Paul, ¹  a prisoner of Christ Jesus, ²  and Timothy our ³  brother, to Philemon, our dear friend ⁴  and colaborer,

Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters! ¹  Let every person be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.

Dear friends, if our conscience does not condemn us, we have confidence in the presence of God,
