As ¹  he rode along, they ²  spread their cloaks on the road.

While they were screaming ¹  and throwing off their cloaks ²  and tossing dust ³  in the air,

They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks ¹  on them, and he sat on them.

Then ¹  they brought the colt to Jesus, threw their cloaks ²  on it, and he sat on it. ³ 

Many spread their cloaks on the road and others spread branches they had cut in the fields.

Then ¹  they brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks ²  on the colt, ³  and had Jesus get on ⁴  it.

So those men were tied up while still wearing their cloaks, trousers, turbans, and other clothes, ¹  and were thrown into the furnace ²  of blazing fire.

A ¹  very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road. Others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

And when the blood of your witness ¹  Stephen was shed, ²  I myself was standing nearby, approving, ³  and guarding the cloaks ⁴  of those who were killing him.’ ⁵ 

When ¹  they had driven him out of the city, they began to stone him, ²  and the witnesses laid their cloaks ³  at the feet of a young man named Saul.
