Abraham bowed before the local people

The man bowed his head and worshiped the Lord,

Moses quickly bowed ¹  to the ground and worshiped

Then Leah came forward with her children and they bowed down. Finally Joseph and Rachel came forward and bowed down.

Abram bowed down with his face to the ground, ¹  and God said to him, ² 

Abraham got up and bowed down to the local people, ¹  the sons of Heth.

The female servants came forward with their children and bowed down. ¹ 

Bathsheba bowed down on the floor before ¹  the king. The king said, “What do you want?”

But she came and bowed down ¹  before him and said, ²  “Lord, help me!”

When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and bowed down before him.

When Abraham’s servant heard their words, he bowed down to the ground before the Lord.

“Your servant our father is well,” they replied. “He is still alive.” They bowed down in humility. ¹ 

So Joseph moved them from Israel’s knees ¹  and bowed down with his face to the ground.

He worshiped and bowed down to Baal, ¹  angering the Lord God of Israel just as his father had done. ² 

She came in, fell at his feet, and bowed down. Then she picked up her son and left.

When the sacrifices were completed, the king and all who were with him bowed down and worshiped.

And a leper ¹  approached, and bowed low before him, saying, ²  “Lord, if ³  you are willing, you can make me clean.”

But Jacob ¹  himself went on ahead of them, and he bowed toward the ground seven times as he approached ²  his brother.

When Joseph came home, they presented him with the gifts they had brought inside, ¹  and they bowed down to the ground before him.

Jacob ¹  said, “Swear to me that you will do so.” ²  So Joseph ³  gave him his word. ⁴  Then Israel bowed down ⁵  at the head of his bed. ⁶
