The sons born to Hezron: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Caleb. ¹ 

Seven ¹  sons and three daughters were born to him. ² 

Now sons were born to David in Hebron. His firstborn was Amnon, born to Ahinoam the Jezreelite.

What is born of the flesh is flesh, ¹  and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.

But when the appropriate time ¹  had come, God sent out his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

His sixth son was Ithream, born to David’s wife Eglah. These sons ¹  were all born to David in Hebron.

But one, the son by the slave woman, was born by natural descent, ¹  while the other, the son by the free woman, was born through the promise.

But just as at that time the one born by natural descent ¹  persecuted the one born according to the Spirit, ²  so it is now.

(Now Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.) ¹ 

These were the sons of Rachel who were born to Jacob, fourteen in all.

And to Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

Children of the third generation born to them ¹  may enter the assembly of the Lord.

These are the names of children born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon,

Jesse was the father of Eliab, his firstborn; Abinadab was born second, Shimea third,

Benjamin was the father of Bela, his firstborn; Ashbel was born second, Aharah ¹  third,

These are the names of children born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon,

After this Job opened his mouth ²  and cursed ³  the day he was born. ⁴ 

but people ¹  are born ²  to trouble, as surely as the sparks ³  fly ⁴  upward. ⁵ 

“Man, born of woman, ¹  lives but a few days, ²  and they are full of trouble. ³ 

“Were you the first man ever born? Were you brought forth before the hills?
