Smoke streams from its nostrils as from a boiling pot over burning ¹  rushes.

The Lord again asked me, “What do you see?” I answered, “I see a pot of boiling water; it is tipped toward us from the north.” ¹ 

There was a row of masonry around each of the four courts, and places for boiling offerings were made under the rows all around.

Then he said to me, “These are the houses for boiling, where the ministers of the temple boil the sacrifices of the people.”

Now the priests would always treat the people in the following way: ¹  Whenever anyone was making a sacrifice, while the meat was boiling, the priest’s attendant would come with a three-pronged fork ²  in his hand.
