And he went outside and wept bitterly. ¹ 

Look, ambassadors ¹  cry out in the streets; messengers sent to make peace ²  weep bitterly.

For I see that you are bitterly envious ¹  and in bondage to sin.”

Give strong drink to the one who is perishing, ¹  and wine to those who are bitterly distressed; ²

But if you will not pay attention to this warning, ¹  I will weep alone because of your arrogant pride. I will weep bitterly and my eyes will overflow with tears ²  because you, the Lord’s flock, ³  will be carried ⁴  into exile.”
