I brought him to your disciples, but ¹  they were not able to heal him.”

Now ¹  Jesus ²  went home, and a crowd gathered so that they were not able to eat.

If ¹  a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom will not be able to stand.

If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.

They will say, ¹  ‘This man ²  began to build and was not able to finish!’ ³ 

Yet ¹  they were not able to resist ²  the wisdom and the Spirit with which he spoke.

He was ¹  fully convinced that what God ²  promised he was also able to do.

When reading this, ¹  you will be able to ²  understand my insight into this secret ³  of Christ.

I am able to do all things ¹  through the one ²  who strengthens me.

because the great day of their ¹  wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?” ² 

Jesus ¹  answered, “You don’t know what you are asking! ²  Are you able to drink the cup I am about to drink?” ³  They said to him, “We are able.” ⁴ 

Do not take an oath by your head, because you are not able to make one hair white or black.

A good tree is not able to bear bad fruit, nor a bad tree to bear good fruit.

and declared, “This man ¹  said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”

And if Satan rises against himself and is divided, he is not able to stand and his end has come.

So ¹  with many parables like these, he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear.

Then Jesus said to him, “‘If you are able?’ ¹  All things are possible for the one who believes.”

you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, ¹ 

Such women are always seeking instruction, ¹  yet never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.

For since he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.
