Mark, Aristarchus, ¹  Demas ²  and Luke, my colaborers, greet you too.

Barnabas wanted to bring John called Mark along with them too,

Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is a great help ¹  to me in ministry. ² 

The church ¹  in Babylon, ²  chosen together with you, ³  greets you, and so does Mark, my son.

When Peter ¹  realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John Mark, ²  where many people had gathered together and were praying.

So Barnabas and Saul returned to ¹  Jerusalem ²  when they had completed ³  their mission, ⁴  bringing along with them John Mark. ⁵ 

They had ¹  a sharp disagreement, ²  so that they parted company. Barnabas took along ³  Mark and sailed away to Cyprus, ⁴ 

Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, sends you greetings, as does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas (about whom you received instructions; if he comes to you, welcome him).

Thus no one was allowed to buy ¹  or sell things ²  unless he bore ³  the mark of the beast – that is, his name or his number. ⁴ 

With his hands ¹  he covers ²  the lightning, and directs it against its target.

The Lord said to him, “Go through the city of Jerusalem ¹  and put a mark ²  on the foreheads of the people who moan and groan over all the abominations practiced in it.”

If you, O Lord, were to keep track of ¹  sins, O Lord, who could stand before you? ² 

Take note of the one who has integrity! Observe the godly! ¹  For the one who promotes peace has a future. ² 

A ¹  third angel ²  followed the first two, ³  declaring ⁴  in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and takes the mark on his forehead or his hand,

He made the moon to mark the months, ¹  and the sun sets according to a regular schedule. ² 

He drew ¹  his bow and made me ²  the target for his arrow.

Mark out the routes for the sword to take: “Rabbah of the Ammonites” and “Judah with Jerusalem in it.” ¹ 

But the Lord said to him, “All right then, ¹  if anyone kills Cain, Cain will be avenged seven times as much.” ²  Then the Lord put a special mark ³  on Cain so that no one who found him would strike him down. ⁴ 

And the smoke from their ¹  torture will go up ²  forever and ever, and those who worship the beast and his image will have ³  no rest day or night, along with ⁴  anyone who receives the mark of his name.”

So ¹  the first angel ²  went and poured out his bowl on the earth. Then ³  ugly and painful sores ⁴  appeared on the people ⁵  who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.
