Why too are we in danger every hour?

Now from noon until three, ¹  darkness came over all the land. ² 

Now ¹  when it was noon, ²  darkness came over the whole land ³  until three in the afternoon. ⁴ 

It was now ¹  about noon, ²  and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, ³ 

“Now my soul is greatly distressed. And what should I say? ‘Father, deliver me ¹  from this hour’? ²  No, but for this very reason I have come to this hour. ³ 

Therefore stay alert, because you do not know the day or the hour. ¹ 

Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time ¹  for prayer, ²  at three o’clock in the afternoon. ³ 

Now ¹  when the Lamb ²  opened the seventh seal there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

Now ¹  when the hour came, Jesus ²  took his place at the table ³  and the apostles joined ⁴  him.

So they went. When ¹  he went out again about noon and three o’clock that afternoon, ²  he did the same thing.

To the present hour we are hungry and thirsty, poorly clothed, brutally treated, and without a roof over our heads.

So he asked them the time ¹  when his condition began to improve, ²  and ³  they told him, “Yesterday at one o’clock in the afternoon ⁴  the fever left him.”

Then ¹  the four angels who had been prepared for this ²  hour, day, ³  month, and year were set free to kill ⁴  a third of humanity.

When those hired about five o’clock came, each received a full day’s pay. ¹ 

It was nine o’clock in the morning ¹  when they crucified him.

Children, it is the last hour, and just as you heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists ¹  have appeared. We know from this that it is the last hour.

“But as for that day and hour no one knows it – not even the angels in heaven ¹  – except the Father alone.

Then he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. He ¹  said to Peter, “So, couldn’t you stay awake with me for one hour?

“But as for that day or hour no one knows it – neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son ¹  – except the Father.

Then ¹  he came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you stay awake for one hour?
