at the scent ¹  of water it will flourish ²  and put forth ³  shoots like a new plant.

During his days the godly will flourish; ¹  peace will prevail as long as the moon remains in the sky. ² 

The godly ¹  grow like a palm tree; they grow high like a cedar in Lebanon. ² 

I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily, he will send down his roots like a cedar of ¹  Lebanon.

And the staff of the man whom I choose will blossom; so I will rid myself of the complaints of the Israelites, which they murmur against you.”
