“Take the Levites from among the Israelites and purify ¹  them.

Accept instruction ¹  from his mouth and store up his words ²  in your heart.

Take a man’s ¹  garment when he has given security for a stranger, and when he gives surety for a stranger, ²  hold him in pledge. ³ 

Then the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the people and take the possessions for yourself.”

Rebekah stands here before you. Take her and go so that she may become ¹  the wife of your master’s son, just as the Lord has decided.” ²

The Lord said to Moses: “Take ¹  spices, gum resin, ²  onycha, ³  galbanum, ⁴  and pure frankincense ⁵  of equal amounts ⁶ 

and said to Aaron, “Take for yourself a bull calf for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, both flawless, and present them before the Lord.

“Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn males among the Israelites, and the livestock of the Levites instead of their livestock. And the Levites will be mine. I am the Lord.
