Joshua instructed ¹  the leaders of the people:

He gave a command to the clouds above, and opened the doors in the sky.

Moreover, Moses commanded the people that day:

So Joshua instructed the priests, “Come up from the Jordan!”

So they commanded the Benjaminites, “Go hide in the vineyards,

David ordered all the officials of Israel to support ¹  his son Solomon.

With his hands ¹  he covers ²  the lightning, and directs it against its target.
