to make artistic designs ¹  for work with gold, with silver, and with bronze,

When he made ¹  the force of the wind and measured ²  the waters with a gauge.

I am determined to obey ¹  your statutes at all times, to the very end.

It is time for the Lord to act – they break your law!

The Lord did indeed accomplish great things for us. We were happy.

in order to take ¹  revenge on the nations, and punish foreigners.

who delight ¹  in doing ²  evil, ³  they rejoice in perverse evil; ⁴ 

What more can I do for my vineyard beyond what I have already done? When I waited for it to produce edible grapes, why did it produce sour ones instead?

and with cutting and setting stone, and with cutting wood, to work in all kinds of craftsmanship.

Then the Lord relented over the evil that he had said he would do to his people.

Now the materials were more than enough ¹  for them to do all the work. ² 

And what I intended to do to them I will do to you.”

You replied to me that what I had said to you was good.

I want to do what pleases you, ¹  my God. Your law dominates my thoughts.” ² 

Do not withhold good from those who need it, ¹  when ²  you ³  have the ability ⁴  to help. ⁵ 

The violence ¹  done by the wicked ²  will drag them away because ³  they refuse to do what is right. ⁴ 

What the sluggard desires ¹  will kill him, ²  for his hands ³  refuse to work.

The Israelites must keep the Sabbath by observing the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.

and in cutting stones for their setting, ¹  and in cutting wood, to do work in every artistic craft. ²
