Each of the doors had two leaves, two swinging ¹  leaves; two leaves for one door and two leaves for the other.

The outer sanctuary and the inner sanctuary each had a double door.

As Ehud went out into the vestibule, ¹  he closed the doors of the upper room behind him and locked them.

For he shattered the bronze gates, and hacked through the iron bars. ¹

Ahaz gathered the items in God’s temple and removed them. He shut the doors of the Lord’s temple and erected altars on every street corner in Jerusalem.

When Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem the Arab, and the rest of our enemies heard that I had rebuilt the wall and no breach remained in it (even though up to that time I had not positioned doors in the gates),
