To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable ¹  to the Lord than sacrifice. ² 

Receive my instruction ¹  rather than ²  silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold.

My fruit is better than the purest gold, ¹  and what I produce ²  is better than choice silver.

What the righteous say ¹  is like ²  the best ³  silver, but what the wicked think ⁴  is of little value. ⁵ 

A good name ¹  is to be chosen ²  rather than great wealth, good favor ³  more than silver or gold.

How much better it is to acquire ¹  wisdom than gold; to acquire understanding is more desirable ²  than silver.
