May integrity and godliness protect me, for I rely on you!

They are forever firm, and should be faithfully and properly carried out. ¹ 

צ (Tsade) You are just, O Lord, and your judgments are fair.

The Lord is both kind and fair; ¹  that is why he teaches sinners the right way to live. ²

if you become ¹  pure ²  and upright, ³  even now he will rouse himself ⁴  for you, and will restore ⁵  your righteous abode. ⁶

So his servants told David these things and David agreed ¹  to become the king’s son-in-law. Now the specified time had not yet expired ²

So the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered ¹  my servant Job? There ²  is no one like him on the earth, a pure and upright man, one who fears God and turns away ³  from evil.”

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a pure and upright man, one who fears God and turns away from evil. And he still holds firmly ¹  to his integrity, ²  so that ³  you stirred me up to destroy him ⁴  without reason.” ⁵
