He remembered his covenant with them, and relented ¹  because of his great loyal love.

He remembered ¹  that they were made of flesh, and were like a wind that blows past and does not return. ² 

Then God took note of ¹  Rachel. He paid attention to her and enabled her to become pregnant. ² 

Then Joseph remembered ¹  the dreams he had dreamed about them, and he said to them, “You are spies; you have come to see if our land is vulnerable!” ² 

God heard their groaning, ¹  God remembered ²  his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob,

So, if a man lives many years, let him rejoice in them all, but let him remember that the days of darkness ¹  will be many – all that is about to come is obscure. ² 

His people remembered the ancient times. ¹  Where is the one who brought them up out of the sea, along with the shepherd of ²  his flock? Where is the one who placed his holy Spirit among them, ³ 

But God remembered ¹  Noah and all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark. God caused a wind to blow over ²  the earth and the waters receded.

So when God destroyed ¹  the cities of the region, ²  God honored ³  Abraham’s request. He removed Lot ⁴  from the midst of the destruction when he destroyed ⁵  the cities Lot had lived in.
