Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up, ¹ 

You led your people like a flock of sheep, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Then Moses and Aaron went and brought together all the Israelite elders. ¹ 

So the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God ¹  to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet. ² 

And Moses and Aaron did so; they did just as the Lord commanded them.

Now Moses was eighty years old and Aaron was eighty-three years old when they spoke to Pharaoh.

and the Israelites went away and did exactly as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron. ¹ 

Moses and Aaron and his sons would wash their hands and their feet from it.

So Moses and Aaron took these men who had been mentioned specifically by name,

So Moses and Aaron and the leaders of the community numbered the Kohathites by their families and by clans,

Then Moses and Aaron fell down with their faces to the ground ¹  before the whole assembled community ²  of the Israelites.

Then Moses and Aaron stood before the tent of meeting.

¹ These are the journeys of the Israelites, who went out of the land of Egypt by their divisions under the authority ²  of Moses and Aaron.

Now Aaron was 123 years old when he died in Mount Hor.

Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel was one of those who prayed to him. ¹  They ²  prayed to the Lord and he answered them.

¹ Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, “Thus says the Lord, ²  the God of Israel, ‘Release ³  my people so that they may hold a pilgrim feast ⁴  to me in the desert.’”

The king of Egypt said to them, “Moses and Aaron, why do you cause the people to refrain from their work? ¹  Return to your labor!”

They were the men who were speaking to Pharaoh king of Egypt, in order to bring the Israelites out of Egypt. It was the same Moses and Aaron.

You are to speak ¹  everything I command you, ²  and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh that he must release ³  the Israelites from his land.

Then Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses cried ¹  to the Lord because of ²  the frogs that he had brought on ³  Pharaoh.
