Present to God a thank-offering! Repay your vows to the sovereign One! ¹ 

“Whoever sacrifices to a god other than the Lord ¹  alone must be utterly destroyed. ² 

I will reside ¹  among the Israelites, and I will be their God,

I cry out for help to the sovereign God, ¹  to the God who vindicates ²  me.

Patiently wait for God alone, my soul! ¹  For he is the one who gives me confidence. ²

O kingdoms of the earth, sing to God! Sing praises to the Lord, (Selah)

Then you will again be my people and I will be your God. ¹ 

They will be my people, and I will be their God. ¹ 

and I return safely to my father’s home, ¹  then the Lord will become my God.

the one who brought you out from the land of Egypt to be your God. ¹  I am the Lord.”

I will walk among you, and I will be your God and you will be my people.

However, if you ¹  turn aside and do not obey, but are lured away to worship and serve other gods,

Solomon replied to God, “You demonstrated ¹  great loyalty to my father David and have made me king in his place.

For long ago, in the days of David and Asaph, there had been directors ¹  for the singers and for the songs of praise and thanks to God.

In all this Job did not sin, nor did he charge God with moral impropriety. ¹ 

I thirst ¹  for God, for the living God. I say, ²  “When will I be able to go and appear in God’s presence?” ³
