From there Isaac ¹  went up to Beer Sheba.

Meanwhile Jacob left Beer Sheba and set out for Haran.

Hazar Shual, Beer Sheba, Biziothiah,

They lived in Beer Sheba, Moladah, Hazar Shual,

in Hazar Shual, in Beer Sheba and its villages,

Then Abraham returned to his servants, and they set out together ¹  for Beer Sheba where Abraham stayed. ² 

Their assigned land included ¹  Beer Sheba, ²  Moladah,

That is why he named that place ¹  Beer Sheba, ²  because the two of them swore ³  an oath there.

Abraham ¹  planted a tamarisk tree ²  in Beer Sheba. There he worshiped the Lord, ³  the eternal God.

So he named it Shibah; ¹  that is why the name of the city has been Beer Sheba ²  to this day.

All Israel from Dan to Beer Sheba realized that Samuel was confirmed as a prophet of the Lord.

The name of his firstborn son was Joel, and the name of his second son was Abijah. They were judges in Beer Sheba.

So they made a treaty ¹  at Beer Sheba. Then Abimelech and Phicol, the commander of his army, returned ²  to the land of the Philistines. ³ 

So Israel began his journey, taking with him all that he had. ¹  When he came to Beer Sheba ²  he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.

All the Israelites from Dan to Beer Sheba ¹  and from the land of Gilead ²  left their homes ³  and assembled together ⁴  before the Lord at Mizpah.

namely, to transfer the kingdom from the house of Saul and to establish the throne of David over Israel and over Judah all the way from Dan to Beer Sheba!”

Then they went to the fortress of Tyre ¹  and all the cities of the Hivites and the Canaanites. Then they went on to the Negev of Judah, to Beer Sheba.

So the Lord sent a plague through Israel from the morning until the completion of the appointed time. Seventy thousand men died from Dan to Beer Sheba.

All the people of Judah and Israel had security; everyone from Dan to Beer Sheba enjoyed the produce of their vines and fig trees throughout Solomon’s lifetime. ¹ 

Elijah was afraid, ¹  so he got up and fled for his life to Beer Sheba in Judah. He left his servant there,
