There is a generation who are pure in their own eyes and yet are not washed ¹  from their filthiness. ² 

Then he washed his face and came out. With composure he said, ¹  “Set out the food.”

and Aaron and his sons must wash their hands and their feet from it. ¹ 

But if he does not wash his clothes ¹  and does not bathe his body, he will bear his punishment for iniquity.’” ² 

So he brought him to his house and fed the donkeys. They washed their feet and had a meal. ¹ 

If I wash myself with snow water, ¹  and make my hands clean with lye, ² 

when my steps ¹  were bathed ²  with butter ³  and the rock poured out for me streams of olive oil! ⁴ 

I maintain a pure lifestyle, ¹  so I can appear before your altar, ²  O Lord,

I concluded, ¹  “Surely in vain I have kept my motives ²  pure and maintained a pure lifestyle. ³ 

“‘Then I bathed you in water, washed the blood off you, and anointed you with fragrant oil.

Let a little water be brought so that ¹  you may all ²  wash your feet and rest under the tree.

“You are to present ¹  Aaron and his sons at the entrance of the tent of meeting. You are to wash ²  them with water

Then you are to cut the ram into pieces and wash the entrails and its legs and put them on its pieces and on its head

they must wash ¹  their hands and their feet so that they do not die. And this ²  will be a perpetual ordinance for them and for their descendants ³  throughout their generations.” ⁴ 

“You are to bring ¹  Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.

Then he put the large basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it ¹  for washing.

Moses and Aaron and his sons would wash their hands and their feet from it.

So Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water.

and he washed the entrails and the legs and offered them up in smoke on top of the burnt offering on the altar.

Anyone who touches his bed ¹  must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. ²
