He who removes mountains suddenly, ¹  who overturns them in his anger; ² 

But as ¹  a mountain falls away and crumbles, ²  and as a rock will be removed from its place,

“Why do the wicked go on living, ¹  grow old, ²  even increase in power?

“They are dismayed ²  and cannot answer any more; they have nothing left to say. ³ 

My eyes ¹  grow dim ²  from suffering; they grow weak ³  because of all my enemies. ⁴ 

You who tear yourself ¹  to pieces in your anger, will the earth be abandoned ²  for your sake? Or will a rock be moved from its place? ³ 

These also are proverbs of Solomon, which the men of King Hezekiah of Judah copied: ¹ 

Then he moved from there to the hill country east of Bethel ¹  and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the Lord and worshiped the Lord. ² 

Then he moved away from there and dug another well. They did not quarrel over it, so Isaac ¹  named it ²  Rehoboth, ³  saying, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we will prosper in the land.”
