The mouth ¹  of an adulteress is like ²  a deep pit; ³  the one against whom the Lord is angry ⁴  will fall into it. ⁵ 

Between her feet he collapsed, he fell limp ¹  and was lifeless; ²  between her feet he collapsed and fell limp, in the spot where he collapsed, there he fell limp – violently murdered! ³ 

The sailors said to one another, ¹  “Come on, let’s cast lots ²  to find out ³  whose fault it is that this disaster has overtaken us. ⁴ ” So they cast lots, and Jonah was singled out. ⁵ 

“Babylon must fall ¹  because of the Israelites she has killed, ²  just as the earth’s mortally wounded fell because of Babylon. ³ 

You will pursue your enemies and they will fall before you by the sword. ¹ 

But as for you, your dead bodies will fall in this wilderness,

When Moses heard it he fell down with his face to the ground. ¹ 

How the warriors have fallen! The weapons of war ¹  are destroyed!

then ¹  let my arm fall from the shoulder, ²  let my arm be broken off at the socket. ³ 

His victims are crushed and beaten down; they are trapped in his sturdy nets. ¹ 

Surely ¹  you put them in slippery places; you bring them down ²  to ruin.

He caused them to fall right in the middle of their camp, all around their homes.

Their ¹  priests fell by the sword, but their ²  widows did not weep. ³ 

Yet you will die like mortals; ¹  you will fall like all the other rulers.” ² 

So he made a solemn vow ¹  that he would make them die ²  in the desert,

make their descendants ¹  die ²  among the nations, and scatter them among foreign lands. ³ 

“You aggressively attacked me ¹  and tried to knock me down, ²  but the Lord helped me.

Laziness brings on ¹  a deep sleep, ²  and the idle person ³  will go hungry. ⁴ 

Your ¹  men will fall by the sword, your strong men will die in battle. ² 

Let them fall ¹  slain in the land of Babylonia, ²  mortally wounded in the streets of her cities. ³
