At the court on the west there were four posted on the road and two at the court.

and gathered from foreign lands, ¹  from east and west, from north and south.

For victory does not come from the east or west, or from the wilderness. ¹

While I was contemplating all this, ¹  a male goat ²  was coming from the west over the surface of all the land ³  without touching the ground. This goat had a conspicuous horn ⁴  between its eyes.
