The next day the Shechemites ¹  came out to the field. When Abimelech heard about it, ² 

So they got up early on the next day and offered up burnt offerings and brought peace offerings, and the people sat down to eat and drink, ¹  and they rose up to play. ² 

It must be eaten on the day of your sacrifice and on the following day, ¹  but what is left over until the third day must be burned up. ²
