It was nine o’clock in the morning ¹  when they crucified him.

They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised.” And they became greatly distressed.

They will flog him severely ¹  and kill him. Yet ²  on the third day he will rise again.”

and on the third day they threw the ship’s gear ¹  overboard with their own hands.

and that he was buried, and that he was raised ¹  on the third day according to the scriptures,

Even if he comes in the second or third watch of the night ¹  and finds them alert, ²  blessed are those slaves! ³ 

and said to them, “Thus it stands written that the Christ ¹  would suffer ²  and would rise from the dead on the third day,

In spite of what you think, these men are not drunk, ¹  for it is only nine o’clock in the morning. ² 

but ¹  God raised him up on the third day and caused him to be seen, ² 

The second woe has come and gone; ¹  the third is coming quickly.

and will turn him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged severely ¹  and crucified. ²  Yet ³  on the third day, he will be raised.”

But ¹  he said to them, “Go ²  and tell that fox, ³  ‘Look, I am casting out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day ⁴  I will complete my work. ⁵ 

that ¹  the Son of Man must be delivered ²  into the hands of sinful men, ³  and be crucified, ⁴  and on the third day rise again.” ⁵ 

Now on the third day there was a wedding at Cana ¹  in Galilee. ²  Jesus’ mother ³  was there,

From that time on ¹  Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem ²  and suffer ³  many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests, and experts in the law, ⁴  and be killed, and on the third day be raised.

saying, “The Son of Man must suffer ¹  many things and be rejected by the elders, ²  chief priests, and experts in the law, ³  and be killed, and on the third day be raised.” ⁴
