Then ¹  Jesus ²  told them a parable to show them they should always ³  pray and not lose heart. ⁴ 

Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?

So I want the men ¹  to pray ²  in every place, lifting up holy hands ³  without anger or dispute.

As ¹  he was praying, ²  the appearance of his face was transformed, ³  and his clothes became very bright, a brilliant white. ⁴ 

“Whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray while standing in synagogues ¹  and on street corners so that people can see them. Truly I say to you, they have their reward.

Now ¹  Jesus ²  was praying in a certain place. When ³  he stopped, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John ⁴  taught ⁵  his disciples.”
