Then if ¹  it bears fruit next year, ²  very well, ³  but if ⁴  not, you can cut it down.’”

For whoever does the will of God is ¹  my brother and sister and mother.”

because you know that each person, whether slave or free, if he does something good, this ¹  will be rewarded by the Lord.

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is ¹  my brother and sister and mother.”

Won’t ¹  God give justice to his chosen ones, who cry out ²  to him day and night? ³  Will he delay ⁴  long to help them?

Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin a person commits is outside of the body” ¹  – but the immoral person sins against his own body.

Then ¹  the serpent spouted water like a river out of his mouth after the woman in an attempt to ²  sweep her away by a flood,

The second beast ¹  was empowered ²  to give life ³  to the image of the first beast ⁴  so that it could speak, and could cause all those who did not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

So anyone who breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches others ¹  to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever obeys them and teaches others to do so will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
